Summer 1223

Several covenant members prepare to travel to Wales to attend Geoffrey and Angharad's wedding. Numerous nobles and dignitaries arrive over the period of several weeks. Two days before the marriage, Angharad goes missing from her family's castle. A search team is quickly assembled and castle staff are quizzed. The magi use magic and an arcane connection to discover that Hermetic magic was used in Angharad's room, and that she is on the move. A party is assembled on horseback and they travel north towards the coastline.

At Connah's Quay, they leave their horses behind and hire a fisherman by using magic (semi-discreetly) to repair his sails. They also use magic to move the boat faster to make up for an approximately 6-hour head start of the kidnappers. Using magic periodically, they can determine that Angharad is also on a boat moving unnaturally fast.

The kidnappers seemed to take to land again and head south somewhere in the vicinity of Llandudno. The covenant party landed east of Conwy and approached an abandoned-seeming keep (motte & bailey) close to Llanrhos. Inside the bailey, they fought a spanish swordsman and a giant and defeated them with magic and superior numbers. Using some stealth to sneak into the abandoned keep, they heard a man speaking latin with a hint of a french accent. They rushed up to the second floor and into the room that he was in only for it to appear empty.

Suspecting invisibility, the party used various means to try and suss out the magus and Angharad. The wizard eventually escaped by destroying the wall and floating down. He was detained briefly with magic, but teleported out. Angharad was rescued none the worse for wear.

Returning her under heavy guard to her father's castle, the wedding took place on time.

Some wedding presents included a pair of rings blessed by a bishop from Sir Jusef and Veloxia, while the Jerbiton of Stonehenge offered up a lab assistant named Tenney for Geoffrey and a maidservant bodyguard for Angharad named Melisende.
