Paden was actually born in Melverley and was raised there for the first couple of years of his life before the young toddler wandered off on a misty night and could never be found again. While theories abound for several years, in truth the child had fallen the hands of passing fae. The traveling fae raised the boy according to their own designs, sharing with the child their charms, stories, and lore of their travels. As the child grew to adulthood his adoptive faerie parents departed and sent him out to his own wanderings. Continuing to travel his old and wide stomping grounds of England and Wales, he learned to channel his charms and exchange stories for room and board when simple goodwill proved insufficient. In time he found his way back to Melverley and, although he had no memory of the place, it held an intangible feeling of home that was at odds with its otherwise fantastic nature. He took to stopping in there during his travels, then to Wintering there for warmth and hearty food paid for with light work, stories, and goodwill. | Paden was actually born in Melverley and was raised there for the first couple of years of his life before the young toddler wandered off on a misty night and could never be found again. Paden Lynton is a jovial man who comes across as, in almost every sense, as being larger than life. He is undeniably charismatic and quick of wit, seemingly always supplied with the best of ice breakers or teasing comebacks.
Recognizing the asset he could be to the covenant during his travels, the Magi approached Paden during the winter of 1227 and hired him to seek out people with particular skills during his travels and convince them to move to or take on work for the covenant. He first located a gem cutter for Joshua (1227). In 1229, Paden Lynton was sent west ostensibly to find a blacksmith for William but went looking in the direction of the Parisii and narrowed down the location. While he did find a blacksmith for William, she was unfortunately not a descendant from Khras-Nagar's tribe. In 1230, Paden tried again to desern a descendent from the village and bring them back to Melverley.
