Chiskisk

Chiskisk is a Killik, or Shirren as they are known in Pact Space. Chiskisk is the main point of contact for TLB whose job it is to develop contacts and business for the business. Because it's relatively new, TLB felt they needed a local to run the office and recruited Chiskisk.

Chiskisk is not solely looking at pure mercantile ventures, however. He is taking a view that TLB members can serve the as specialized contractors to solve problems for various clients in Pact Space. He has started with some jobs on Absalom Station, and now that the crew has a ship, they will be able to extend their reach into the broader area.

Killik in Pact Space

In Pact Space, killiks, known there as Shirren, seem to operate on a more individual basis, not unlike most species. Although they have strong communal tendencies with their own kind, they don't exhibit the same kind of nesting and breeding behaviors seen in the known galaxy.

A significant reproductive difference that evolved was the emergency of a third sex, or host. The distribution between sexes is more balanced as a result. with male and female members contributing sperm and egg, respectively, while the host incubates the fertilized egg and contributes their own genetic material. This is stark contrast to the standard killik reproduction of majority female who lay thousands of eggs with comparatively few male members whose only evolutionary and societal task is to fertilize eggs.
