Landing and Customs

Items on the ship?

Prior to the explosion, establish lasersword location, find out about LASR's role in the imperial parade.

Inspection and Explosion

  • As the players ship is inspected, a chatty customs agent notices the wookiee's lightsaber and dismisses it as a prop for the Empire Day celebrations. He mentions the Loyalist Association of Saber Rakers, and that they will be participating in the Empire Day march later that day.
  • As the first passangers of the next transport come in (a unit of the Imperial Sub Adult Group, ranging from 10 to 16, forming up on the pad outside), the customs inspector starts to wrap you up, when a large explosion rocks the landing pad offices.
  • BR-1K has a harder check, as the landing bay bucks beneath him, scattering the imperial cub scouts into a panic, and then the bottom drops out of one side of the hoverpad. The Imperial Lambada the ISAGs came in on tumbles over the edge, a few straggler children reach out to grab power lines, fuel lines, anything they can to hold on to, (not handrails, as apparently the Empire, like the Republic doesnt believe in public saftey) as your ship starts to slide across the increasing slope toward them. P1G5 rushes toward the cockpit, but it's unlikely he could get the ship up before it runs over the children...

-One action each-

  • As a few of the ISAG scramble for saftey, your ship tumbles over the edge. You can see P1G5 in the cockpit trying to start the engine, and there is a whine of powering repulsors as it starts to tumble toward the abyss... followed by a loud honking noise, as a food shipment lorry slams into your craft breaking it's spine as both halves tumble into the corusanti underworld.
  • That was supposed to be everyones ride off this planet.
  • SAG leader (Alexia Velpiu) fears his life is in danger, and is trying to convince the port athorities to give him a stormtrooper escort. (may affect other points on Corusanti timeline)

Finding a new ship

Carjacking

  • Locate valet parking for the Empire Day festivities
    • Valets want to know what your ship is.
    • jack a speeder to follow a valet'd ship.
  • Security systems
    • Valet parking lot has a state of the art security system, security and anti-slicing droids.
    • If they come up with a reasonable bypass, dungeon crawl it.
    • Direct approach, ISB meter, combat with droids, Inquisitor arrieves as a raid

Liberating Resources

  • Imperial base has a lot of traffic in and out for Empire Day
    • Also has a police station that's trying to investigate corusanti liberation front and rebel activity.
  • Aquire uniforms
  • BS guards, locate hangers.
    • Imperial marchng batalion prepping their shuttle- armory is full of musical intriments.
    • Two tie fighters (unarmed) and a bomber being prepped for the parade flyby- fireworks launchers on the bomber, no lasers.
  • Inquisitor senses you, comes over.

Screw the rules, we have money

  • There isnt many ships looking for buyers over the Empire Day clebration- those who are will be desperate
    • Finding a ship in this hemisphere
  • Corusanti Liberation front encounters, pirate ship
  • Rumors of the location of the terrorist group that blew up the platform
  • Information broker at Quix
    • Pirate leadership might do something rash
    • Might be able to arrange a meeting downbelow.
  • CLF leadership meeting
    • Could talk leadership down, call off attacks, or piss them off, guarentee arena attack)

The Ship and the Inquisitor

The inquisitor may be discovered by the players, or be part of an imperial party call by, or against, the players. This will affect his additude toward the players and the resources he has to call on. This first encounter is meant to be resolved by talking, saving the combat for the climactic battle.

Fancy meeting you here

  • ...A Presence you have not felt since...
  • Inquisitor in powerful armor, former friend, tainted by darkness. He is equally suprised by your survival.

Oh... It's YOU.

  • Imperial patrol arrives with a heavilly armored Inquisitor
  • Mutual recognition, inquisitor tells the patrol to hold/continue mission while he talks to PCs.

Talking points

  • Force is not weak or strong, dark or light, only reliable and unreliable.
  • Empire has all the cool toys
  • Sub-Mission specific talking points
    • Imperial base is hosting the imperial marching band, taking up all the landing pads
    • Corusanti Terrorists
    • Shipjacking- he has the old
  • Hasnt heard from the other darksiders in years.
    • Manny the bothan seemed to lack conviction, and is doomed to mediocrity.
    • Nelsh the Rodian seems to prefer natural places, so they dont talk much-
    • Zomba the Twilek glories in manpulation and climbing the inquisition heirarchy, if someone hasnt stabbed him in the back yet.

Stop that ship! Blast them!

  • PCs escape in a ship

  • PCs blast their way out without a (big enough) ship
    • Pursit in a lambada
    • Other options for a ship are easier when you're not worried about sending up alarms
  • PCs talk their way out
    • Other options do not trigger inquisitor

Final Batttle

Ship is preparing to lift off to rescue the other groups, when a imperial ship cuts them off and the inquisitor leaps down, landing on top of your ship. (first thing he does is force-pull the ships guns out of their turret) he's trying to get inside, stop him. Meanwhile, fly through corusant and lose pursuit.
