Guide and Lore

Mustered Armsmen are assembled from a careful maintained list of crew members who fit the three criteria of being trustworthy enough to send off their post, strong enough to use a weapon effectively, but not important enough that their loss would individually compromise the effectiveness of the ship. This still leaves a fairly sizable portion of the Albion's 90,000 population available. Typically offered around a day's wages as a bonus (with more for valiant/successful actions), there is also no shortage of volunteers.

Mustered Armsmen are not provided any weapons from the Ships Armory, which is will have already been passed out among the regulars, but instead are expected to provide there own weapons and protection. As such, this call to battle is also one of the few times the regular Armsmen will ignore the spontaneous appearance of home-made firearms, the owning of which is illegal by ships law.

In combat, Mustered Armsmen are a wave of combat by attrition, semi-organized mobs of chaotically armed voidsmen trying their best to follow their officer's orders, stay alive, and reach what ever objective has been recently been assigned extra ship's coin.
