Haruko has long wavy brown hair down to the bottom of her shoulder blades, bright green eyes, wearing an oversized overcoat in winter and fall, and a windbreaker and shorts in spring and summer. Her territory follows the Gokou river from its largest waterfall till Mt. Kaminaga's forest thins to the point one could not touch the trunk of two adult tree with each fingertip. As a Henge with territory so reachable by humans she has become a lone wolf separated from others of her kind. She is honest with herself and others, and is often haunted by a loneliness imposed by the secluded, sacred, serene places she feel obliged to protect
