Name: Touki the Kodama

This ancient tree has stood in front of the Hitotsuna-Nushi shrine for over a century. Touki is by far the oldest Kodama living in Hitotsuna proper, but the forests surrounding it hold those far older. He is old enough to have seen the Hitotsuna-Nushi shrine in its prime, and watch its place of prominence slowly usurped by the newer Misuzu-Hachiman shrine as the head Shinto shrine of the town. In recent years he has grown attached to one of the children (well teen now) of Hitotsuna, Arisa Aikawa, who acts as a small fond reminder of the days when his tree was oft visited by those heading to the once busy shrine. For visual reference Kodama in my game have a similar look as those in Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke when they wish people to see a form other than their trees.
