Summary of the Story

Scene One: Just like One of My Japanese Anime

Returning home from the local Dagashiya, the players see Natsu and Haruko moments away from their first kiss, on the Hitotsuna bridge overlooking the sunset. When Natsu see the players (especially Okuni Abe who wears the same miko uniform as her) she runs down the flees towards home, while Haruko collapses, so depressed by these turn of events that she lets her wolf ears and tail show. Miyako and Okuni Abe run after Natsu, while Kinji and Haru stayed behind to talk to Haruko.

Scene One, Split One: The Lonely Wolf

Kinji and Haru, while unable to cheer Haruko up enough to chase after Natsu, they do get her talking about how she met and fellin love with Natsu. She revealed that she watched over Natsu whenever she went into Haruko's territory to train beneath the largest waterfall of the Gokou river, and fell in love with the Miko.

Scene One, Split Two: Horse Race

With Miyako's Pony Express power the two players quickly cut off Natsu's escape route. With the reassurances of Okuni Abe they convince Natsu to come back to bridge, as long as the players keep her relationship a secret. Natsu admits that when she saw another Miko she was afraid word would get back to her father, who she is afraid would not approve of the relationship and might keep her from being a Miko(although she wasn't willing to admit what she thought her father issue with the relationship might be). Returning to Haruko the two have a heart to heart that keeps their relationship from weakening.

Scene Two: Hidebound

A few days latter the players get the uncomfortable news that Natsu is missing. Wanting to help the players meet with Natsu's father, Daisuke the current priest of the Misuzu Hachiman shrine. Daisuke admits that Natsu ran away from home after the two had an argument over a "boy" that Natsu had fallen for. Growing angry with Daisuke's stubborness Okuni Abe uses her Fake power to look as adult and imposing as she can, she then chastises him for the hypocrisy and injustice of way he treated his daughter, and that if she wanted to move away from being a Miko and into a relationship she should be allowed to. At this point Daisuke admits that it is more than that, he is afraid that rumors of her being a lesbian will haunt her when she grows out of what he assumes must be some phase. Using her authority and passion Okuni Abe convinces him that if he loves his daughter, he is going to have to accept her for who she is and forgive his daughter.

Scene Three: Bone Chilling Howl

With the help of Daisuke Haru gets a scent as a starting point to track Natsu. With this he leads the players all the way to the waterfall Natsu trains under, but they looses her scent, and with this being Haruko's territory, tracking her has too many leads to trace up, so Haru howls in the hopes that Haruko will respond. When she does it is with the Wolf Howl power, that is so frightening that it spooks Miyako, but it leads them right to her den. The players talk Haruko into letting them bring the couple back to confront Daisuke.

Scene Four: Sandwiched in a Group Hug

With Natsu placed onto Miyako's back for easy transport, Haruko begins a rather one sided rivalry with her based on a mix of jealousy and appreciation. With the guidance of the wolf henge they find the way back far easier than when they set out. When they finally confront Daisuke Haruko interprets his motions as hostile, and uses her Substitution power to try and protect Natsu, and responding to Haruko's action Haru also uses his Substitution power, and both get squished in what becomes an enthusiastic group hug. Wanting to get to know the henge who have involved themselves in his daughter's life he invites them to dinner the following day

Final Scene: Feast for Family and Friends

With Daisuke's acceptance of the young lovers, this gives everyone involved a chance to unwind. Okuni Abe takes the opportunity to aquatint Natsu with some of the more embarrassing stories of her father's youth, while Haru takes advantage of adult demeanor to revel in his access to sake while Kinji his rival is denied it (until a bit of bickering gets them fair treatment). The story closes with rifts between lovers and a family both restored by the players actions.
