Severus Feist is a "retired" Adeptus Arbites Investigator from Armageddon. A student of Hades Hive’s Schola Progenium, Severus underwent the Imperium’s heavily disciplined and rigorous education. Upon reaching the age of majority, he was accepted into the Acadimus Arbites where he quickly excelled at the exiting and interpersonal activities that the Arbites are called upon to perform. His talent moved him quickly up off the street and into the rank of Investigator.

His life took a dramatic turn years later when, during the course of a particularly complex investigation, he became embroiled in a scheme and scandal that saw his target put down but left him politically tarnished. Mysteriously unable to obtain a transfer for a fresh start, he ended up “retired” and was forced to take up a life as a private agent. It was in this capacity that he took up Drake’s offer of more steady, if potentially dangerous, employment.
