From Armalon

Absolon Dieudonne

Appearance: Absolon is a broad framed, well-built man whose natural size is, even more, striking next to the lithe form of Charlabelle. He has cultivated both the dispassionate look and the ever-gazing eye of the professional bodyguard. In civilized areas, he is typically dressed in a well-tailored but clearly armored suit. He also has an exceptional suit of black and red carapace armor for use in more hostile situations.
Personality: It is more than professional honor or an oath that keeps Absolon in harm's way for Charlabelle. He is indeed in love with her or at least the idea of her, and because of this is loyal to the end. Externally, he is every bit the professional, cold, quiet and falling just enough into the background to stay out of his charge’s way.
Capabilities: While known to be skilled with a pistol and combat blade, Absolon is said to possess exceptional skill with a plasma gun. He’s also a tactician of some skill who will often take the lead of hit and run attacks or other operations while Charlabelle is otherwise engaged.

From Arcadius

Able Gerrit, of House Arcadius

Appearance: A well-built gentleman of sport, Able Gerrit prefers a fine and stylized dueling outfit to the usual captain's regalia. It also serves as a potent reminder of his own martial abilities. Scars on his face and hands indicate that the blades are not ceremonial and that he has had at least his fair share of close fighting. Moreover, the ornate cybernetic replacement of his left eye serves as an indication of just how close some of his duels have become.
Personality: Gerrit is both justifiably proud of his House, and of his own considerable accomplishments. He carries himself as a man not to be trifled with, and expects to be treated with due respect. While he does not sing his own accolades, he will not suffer them to be belittled. He is a man of his word, and will not deal with those who are not.
Capabilities: Able Gerrit is a distant relative of the head of House Arcadius, not even inline for the warrant himself, though he has been empowered to act on the House’s behalf. He’s known to be a skilled leader of men, particularly in the crucible of battle. For his own part, he is also an accomplished fighter and duelist, extremely skilled with his matched pair of power swords.

Martin Vimin

Appearance: Martin dresses the part, in a mixture of stealth equipment and imperial guard fatigues. Even when on leave, he retains the appearance of one who kills for a living. He is nearly always found with a camo-cloak on, and is always found with his Aquila pendant.
Personality: Specialist Vimin is both quiet and deeply religious. He tends to avoid people outside of pilgrimage or prayer settings. In these settings he acts like a typical devout member of the Imperial Creed, discussing saints and miracles at length.
Capabilities: Martin is an expert marksman, particularly with the rare needle weapons, of which he carries both the pistol and rifle version. If Gerrit expects trouble, Martin will likely be nowhere in sight, having headed to a covering location with good lines of sight.

Retainers

Gerrit does not maintain any dedicated expedition troops, preferring to draw from his well trained and equipped ship armsmen. They can be recognized by their high-quality flak armor and typical naval weapons such as shotguns and cutlasses. They are deadly close ranges and small areas but are somewhat at a loss in wide-open lands.

Maxim’s Gambit

Appearance: Maxim’s Gambit is Havoc class raider by design, though it’s somewhat small for its class. The smoothed front and wicked central spike give the craft a sinister appearance, while the racks of Mars style Macrobatteries leave little doubt to its main purpose.
Capabilities: Maxim’s Gambit is well-armed and highly maneuverable. While it won’t necessarily last too long in a direct confrontation, it’s more than enough to hold off pirates and give the more cumbersome craft a nasty headache.
