Planning haj's revenge

  • Haj is a galaxy class skiptracer- he has and is using the Bought Info talent.
  • He knows the group that sliced the comm tower killrd his protege and foiled his capture of a bounty. *In short order he learns the ship they blasted out on, the company it is registered to, and the corporate headquarters location on naboo.
  • Calling in favors, he gets boss to audit transponder frequencies of wayfairer transports, starting with FL. He then flys to Naboo.
    • Sector Ranger Walker sees this audit cross his desk, calls PCs.
  • once on Naboo, Haj breaks in to corporate HQ, vaccuum s the computers, drains the account hq can access, and frames the PCs for insurance fraud as he blows up the office. Nell Davingatt is his next target.

This wouldn't quite work, largely because of the way TLB operates:

Haj doesn't have a boss. Erik specifically said he doesn't work for a guild, but is a solo bounty hunter, like the group Vader got to hunt down Luke. His resources are considerably more limited as a result. It doesn't stop him from hunting us, but with only 3 Obligation on the crew, we are more likely to run into a problem with our droids than with Haj finding us.

We also don't have an office, we have a setup like most real-world corporations do when they register in Delaware. It's simply a registration address. When we visit, we use temporary rentable office space by the day (my last job we used Regus.com for meeting clients because our office space sucked). Any calls to TLB go to an answering service. We don't have staff of our own there except when we specifically leave FC crew there, nor do we have computers to hack. We don't own any buildings. If he blows something up, the building owners and Naboo Security will be the ones looking for him. All our offices and assets are basically on the Flaming Cantina. Star Wars seems to work with credit sticks, which is what we would insist on when we get paid (especially given how much we deal with Nar Shaddaa) so there also couldn't be any theft on Naboo -- at least nothing that would belong to us. -Mark 16:00, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

I think Brendon was referring to BoSS rather than "his boss". I remember we described the "Corporate HQ" a couple of times in the game as nice office building that contained (rented to) a hundred or so small companies who were all "Based out of Naboo". So we have mail & comm answering services, office space that consists of a desk, a few chairs and a storage closet, and the contractual ability to use the meeting room for 3 hours a month, (or something like that). He could get in there and ransack the place, but all he's going to get is what ever packages/mail we haven't picked up yet, and maybe out last dozen messages or so (that were routed through there.)

Nothing thats going to seriously hurt us, but might be a fun thing to bring up if if we ever happen to land on that 3 obligation.
