43 BBY - Sidious kills Plageius, becoming the Dark Lord of the Sith

42 BBY - Anakin Skywalker is born on an unknown planet

40 BBY - Valorum is first elected Supreme Chancellor

37 BBY - Klip’pfa’nuruodo is born in the Chiss Ascendancy late in the year.

35 BBY - The Great Resynchronization occurs, this is “Year Zero”

34 BBY - The True Mandalorians are destroyed by a Jedi task force led by Count Dooku in the Battle of Galidraan. Jango Fett is one of only two survivors of the battle. The other is later killed for information on Jango’s whereabouts. “End” of the Mandalorian Civil War

32 BBY - The Blockade of Naboo - Palpatine is elected Supreme Chancellor - Building of the clone army begins on Kamino

27 BBY - Mon Mothma is elected senator of Chandrilla, the youngest in Republic history

24 BBY - Seperatist crisis begins - Palpatine stays despite the end of his second term with the passage of the Emergency Powers Act

22 BBY - Military Creation act and the Battle of Geonosis - The Clone Wars begin 19 BBY - Clone Wars End, Order 66 is given and the purge begins. - The New Order is declared by Palpatine. Within a week the Republic becomes the Galactic Empire.

8 BBY - Later in the year: Black Sun Scandal:

7 BBY - Reslian purge- Lortan race try to take out the Tunroth, Empire intervenes on their behalf, annihilating the Lortan. Ironic, since the Lortans are human. - Vader sterilizes Falleen)

6 BBY - Xizor seizes control of Black Sun. - Captain Hoffner and Talon Karrde discover the Katana Fleet.

5 BBY - Short lived uprising against the Empire on Devaron. - Tarkin's brother dies during the Erhynradd Massacre

4 BBY - Service Special blaster pistol released - Battle of Nar Shadaa- pirates v. Empire, Hutts hire pirates and smugglers, but the Imperial Admiral was ordered privately by Palpatine to throw the battle anyway to decrease the Moff's power. Good thing cause his fleet sucked.

3 BBY - Gallofree Yards goes bankrupt. - Mon Mothma goes into hiding. - Battle of ThonBoka and attempted extermination of the Oswaft species. The Empire failed. Lando was involved.

2 BBY -Corellian Treaty -Official beginning of Galactic Civil War

0 BBY ABY - Palpatine dissolves the Senate - Destruction of Alderaan and the Battle of Yavin

4 ABY - Battle of Endor

9 ABY - Thrawn Crisis

11 ABY - Leia replaces Mon Mothma as Chief of State - Jedi Academy established on Yavin IV
