Brendon: It occurs to me "mercenaries" and "Imperial Garrison" is redundant- we may as well make them all Imperials, who recently (re)discovered the ruins, and may have important artifacts sitting in a museum somewhere.
There are benefits and downsides to that.  Its simple, iconic and gives that nice Nazi archiology feel, but also makes the Imperial presence that much larger, and makes the two groups unified by default.  It also reduses the amount of different types of enemy you can have - Imperials are pritty uniform. <br /> - [[User:Quicksilver|Quicksilver]] 21:25, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Brendon: It occurs to me "mercenaries" and "Imperial Garrison" is redundant- we may as well make them all Imperials, who recently (re)discovered the ruins, and may have important artifacts sitting in a museum somewhere.

There are benefits and downsides to that. Its simple, iconic and gives that nice Nazi archiology feel, but also makes the Imperial presence that much larger, and makes the two groups unified by default. It also reduses the amount of different types of enemy you can have - Imperials are pritty uniform.
