The deionizing shield generator is technically not at the base yet. Given that they already know the location of both where the shield is slated to be delivered, and where the new rebel base is located, TLB may be called upon to transport the shield to it's new home.The new rebel command base is located in a distant system registered only by its initial survey number of 5251977. The base is located on a terrestrial planet orbiting close to a dim, cold star. The planet's double-thickness atmosphere and week-long day cycles, combined with the high-energy particles coming off of its star, creates a virtually continuous planet-wide ion and lightning storm that shorts out unshielded electronic is seconds, and shielded systems in minutes. The base itself only functions thanks to a stressed by precisely tuned deionizing shield.
