Summary of the Story

Scene One : Meeting the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga

Following Haru's nose the Players find themselves just within the the woods of Mt. Kaminaga, and stumble on a shrine long forgotten by the people of Hitotsuna. Digging into her memories Okuni Abe recalls that this was the shrine to the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga, who reveals herself to the players and asks who they are and what brought them there. After some respectful bows, the god seems to warm up to the player's presence.

Scene Two : Regale, Repair and Retire

As the players get to know the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga, they begin to help her with making repairs to the long abandoned shrine. As the sky darkens and the players reach the limit of what they can do with without tools, they decide on where they will go for the night. Okuni Abe decides to stay with the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga, while the rest decide to return home.

Scene Three Part 1: A Night on the Mountain

Finding Tovera's excuses for leaving insincere the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga makes the way out of the woods impossible for her to find. After wandering Tovera returns, and resigns herself to spending the night on the mountain with Okuni Abe, as idle chatter passes between the three.

Scene Three Part 2: A Morning in the Barn

Having promised to return in the morning with tools to fix up the old shrine, Haru and Miyako raid the farm they live on for supplies. With both stealth and horse hijinks they manage to gather what they need and return to the shrine

Final Scene: Returned to Former Glory

Finding herself grateful for the company of the player the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga thanks them and asks that they not only help fix the shrine, but remind the people of Hitotsuna about it as well. Working wonders with her woodworking, Miyako repairs what structural damage the shrine held, and helps cut the path to the shrine. Haru uses volunteered strands of Miyako's horse hair, woven with the god's own spider silk, to replace the tattered cord to the bell. Meanwhile Okuni Abe volunteers Tovera for the process of removing the rust and polishing the old shrine bell, and in return Tovera helps advertise the shrine by posting fliers about all over Okuni Abe's shrine. Thanks to the players the Goddess of Mt. Kaminaga's shrine will not be the lonely and forgotten place they first stumbled upon.
