Dominions is an Epic Level D&D 3rd edition game based around the player characters as an aspiring pantheon of gods and goddesses. In an age of mythology, when time had hardly started, several beings born or created with a divine destiny, a fragment of Creations power tied to an aspect. They gathered around them followers and worshipers, created alliances and pantheons, and fought monsters and rivals. The conflict is inevitable, for only when all the fragments of an aspect are gathered, can the age end and the new pantheon ascend to the outer realms.
